TEENAGE Hadebe is happy to be back in action after an injury lay-off that side-lined him from Major League Soccer action in the United States.
Hadebe scored in a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Sporting KC at the weekend.
He was making only his second successive start since returning from injury last week, having been out for about five months when he broke his right leg and had to undergo surgery.
‘I feel good to be back after being on the side-lines for such a long time.
“I had missed playing and I’m happy that I’ve managed to recover well. Al thanks to everyone who was there during my recovery and made sure that I’m 100 percent fit.
“And, scoring in the weekend’s game was the icing on the cake.
“I was so excited to register my name on the scoresheet.
“Being on target, especially after coming from an injury, really boosts my confidence going into the next games.
“Scoring is fun and I really hope that I get to score more goals going forward if Inkosi Ivumile (God allowing),” he said.
His first game for the club was on Thursday morning, playing the entire 90 minutes in Dynamo’s 4-1 win over Vancouver Whitecaps.
“Injuries are a part of the game and what’s important is recovery and I’m happy that I’ve recovered and looking forward to having some game time.
“It wasn’t easy being on the side-lines, you know I love to play and do well for my team.”
