A 41-year-old Manressa woman lost valuables to thieves who broke into her car outside Baines Clinic in the Avenues, Harare.
Eunice Machingura Segamayi parked her white Toyota GD6 vehicle at the medical institution at around 7pm on Sunday.
She closed the windows and locked the car going into the hospital.
When she returned after 30 minutes, the front passenger window had been broken and her handbag with various baby clothing stolen.
Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the case.
He said another motorist, Allan Siwela from Norton, lost some valuables on Monday when thieves forced open his Toyota RunX at Montague Shopping Centre along Harare Street.
“Allan parked his vehicle in a parking bay at Montague Shopping Centre at around 8.15am.
“He closed all the windows, locked the vehicle using the remote and went into a pharmacy.
“He came back after 10 minutes and found a small crack at the boot which was no longer locked.
“He lost his HP laptop G5 which was inside a satchel,” said Insp Chakanza.
