ZIFA President Felton Kamambo said the Warriors will play friendlies as they prepare for the AFCON tournament which Egypt will the host in June.
The Warriors win over Congo-Brazzaville secured their place in AFCON and have topped Group G with 11 points.
Zimbabwe needed at least a draw to qualify.
Kamambo says he was happy that the boys made it in an interview with him after the Warriors 2-1 win over Congo-Brazzaville at the National Sports Stadium.
“I am happy for myself and the boys; they did what they promised so l am happy for them.
“We had a master plan for the AFCON; we had planned for the AFCON so it’s a question for activating our plan.
“We want to go there and do much better than we did now,” he said.
Kamambo says he has lined up friendlies for the Warriors.
“We have also lined up a number of friendlies with African and European countries so we just want to activate it.
“We are going to be making use of all the international friendly games. Because if you look at the under 23 ‘s we’ve also talked to the coaches to consider our players.
“We also have matches that we have in plan for all international players in Europe to come have friendlies in Zimbabwe so that the coaches can have a chance to assess them,” he said.
