TWO suspected thieves who have been using a school as their hideout have been arrested.
The two who could not be identified at the time of arrest were using Hallingbury Primary School car park as a hideout from police.
They were arrested when police acted on a tip off before closing in on the two who were seated in their car at the school.
Allegations are that the two suspects were hiding from the police and they used the parking slot as a hideout.
“I’m not sure how the police got to know that they were hiding and came and blocked the suspects’ car.
“The two men were hiding from the police and they parked their car in the school’s parking slot.
“The suspects couldn’t run away since they were blocked from both sides.
“They were apprehended and they were taken to the police station,” said Luke Nyamutsaka a resident who was at the scene.
