Dancehall artiste, Ticksen-real name Allan Chidoti-says he has managed to make a comeback in music after overcoming personal problems he has been facing in the past few years.
The talented chanter 22-year-old chanter, who collaborated with the likes of Killer T, Soul Jah Love and Ras Pompy ,back in the day revealed that he is back to recording music.
His new 2019 project to announce his comeback is entitled “Gudo guru.”
He has engaged various producers like Oskid, Aya T, Cymplex and Cashlibs among others on the singles collection.
Speaking to H-Metro, Tickens said:
“I have encountered a number of problems which have kept me away from music over the past years.
“I was still recording but it’s just that the music didn’t get enough marketing and distribution since I was also based in South Africa.
“However I am back now and I have something new I will be releasing to announce my come back.
“It’s a singles collection and I’m sure dancehall fans will like it.
“One of the songs to watch out for on the compilation is a song entitled Moto featuring Jah Master.”
Tickens also revealed that he is working under a record label based in South Africa called Taiwa Nation Productions under the management of Tapiwa Shumba.
Some of his popular tracks are Vakadzi chipo and Tinobata madinga.
