Never Tigere is happy they are already preparing for the new season immediately after the conclusion of the previous campaign.
The Azam forward forward says it’s good for them and he is not worried about fatigue since they spent most of their time not in action due to Covid-19.
The Tanzanian league is slated to start on the 10th of next month.
“We started training soon after the league ended and training has been good.
“We are preparing for the season which starts soon,” he said.
“Yes because of Covid-19 things aren’t yet back to normal and everyday we get checked for temperatures and other measurements are being taken as well as having a safety mask on at all times withing public areas and on groups too.
“And since we managed to play the remaining games and ended the season. I’m sure we can also restart and manage to play just like we did last season.”
The second runner up of the PSL says he is ready for the new season.
“I’m ready to play and do all l can fit my team.
“My target is to win the Championship with Azam and l’m ready for this season challenges.
“And in doing that l also want to improve and be better than l was last season.
“I want to help as much as l can and maybe score more goals,” he said.
The Former FC Platinum Star was joined by fellow countrymen Prince Dube who joined from Highlanders a fortnight ago.
“It’s always to be joined by one of your own.
“And l’m happy that he joined, we just want to do our best and raise our country’s flag here,” he said.
