Triangle are continuing with their pre-season training sessions not bowing down to the current covid-19 pandemic.

This comes after many teams, including the three traditional giants have stopped training as a prevention measure in light of the corona-virus pandemic.

CAPS United, Dynamos, Highlanders, Chicken Inn, Black Rhinos, Bulawayo Chiefs and Ngezi Platinum among other teams, have cancelled training.

Triangle remain on duty despite the disease having claimed one of the three cases recorded.

“We are still training. Nothing has changed here.

“I think we will stop too when the company’s workers stop.

“But as of now it’s business as usual, ” said a source at the lowveld club.

Yesterday the Taurai Mangwiro coached side took time to educate it’s players about the Covid-19 pandemic in their morning session.

They later trained in the afternoon at 3pm.

“We trained at 3pm. In the morning we were being taught about the pandemic.

“The only reason we might break up is because the date when the league will resume is still unknown,” added the source.

The club continues to train despite a government directive to ban gatherings around sporting activities.
