OLIVER “TUKU” Mtukudzi’s widow, Daisy, says she is bowled by Jah Prayzah’s humility and support for the family.
The 36-year-old superstar draws inspiration from the late crooner who died in 2019 aged 66.
He was declared a national hero.
Jah Prayzah is believed to be in constant touch with the family and on Christmas Day he will be performing at Pakare Paye.
Family spokesperson and Pakare Paye events manager, Faith Kadzura, confirmed Jah Prayzh’s Christmas present.
“We are glad that Jah Prayzah has decided to celebrate Christmas with us at Pakare Paye. As you know Jah Prayzah was close to mudhara and he still checks on us regularly.
“Uunlike other people who have abandoned us after mudhara’s death, Jah Prayzah has never done such a thing.
“He has been supportive to us and we feel the love too and the biggest present for us is his Christmas show at Pakare Paye,” she said.
Kadzura, who has worked with several artists, hailed Jah Prayzah for his professionalism.
“If you look closely at Jah Prayzah, you will see that he is a professional guy.
“He has done a lot for the country through hard work.
“He continues to set records and he has achieved almost everything in Zimbabwe.
“We also feel proud to be associated with his brand, which continues to grow with each passing day.”
