KAITANO Tembo lost his second successive league match in charge of Richards Bay after his new side slumped to a 1-2 defeat to Golden Arrows in the KwaZulu-Natal Derby yesterday.
The Zimbabwean lost his first game at the weekend when they went down 0-2 to SuperSport United.
Hard-running midfielder Boikanyo Komane made his first start for the host as Letsie Koapeng and Langelihle Mhlongo earned a recall too, while Siyanda Mthathi was the only change for Arrows after his goal against Moroka Swallows.
Arrows pulled ahead five minutes later after Ryan Moon managed to get under a knockdown in the area and comfortably guided into the bottom corner.
Richards Bay maintained calm and got on level terms in the last five minutes when Komane scored from the penalty spot.
However, Abafana Besthende, who fielded Knox Mutizwa in attack, restored the lead after two minutes as an unmarked Olwethu Ncube bundled a low cross in off the underside of the bar. – Sports Reporter/KickOff
