ZIMBABWEAN players in the Absa Premiership put up a great show over the weekend.
Warriors star Kuda Mahachi was on target as he scored in Orlando Pirates’ 4-1 victory over AmaZulu.
Golden Arrows striker Knox Mutizwa was on target in Golden Arrows 1-1 draw against Chippa United on Friday.
The star is now on six goals, two behind leading scorers.
Polokwane striker Walter Musona scored a stunning long range equaliser as his team settled for a 1-1 draw against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
Another Zimbabwean at Golden Arrows, Devine Lunga, has been awarded man of the match twice this year.
Midfielder Marshall Munetsi started for Pirates and played the full match having been benched in previous fixtures.
Ronald Pfumbidzai, Talent Chawapiwa, Teenage Hadebe, Khama Billiat who have been part of the Warriors squad before been regulars and performing well at their respective clubs.
Warriors’ manager Wellington Mpandare says he is satisfied with Warriors performance.
“We have been monitoring our players and have been communicating with them regularly.
“We are happy and they are in good form as we prepare for our match against Congo Brazzaville in March,” he said.
