WARRIORS coach Joey Antipas will possibly do without two of the players in the provisional squad for CHAN 2020 qualifiers against Lesotho over passport issues.

Joel Ngodzo, who was left for the Warriors CHAN first game against Mauritius, is yet to renew his papers together with Harare City’s William Manondo.

Warriors play Lesotho in the first leg at home on Sunday with the return leg slated for next month.

The team had their first training session yesterday at the National Sports Stadium.

Warriors manager Wellington Mpandare said they are working on the passport issues.

“We have a challenge in that area, we have applied for Josta’s so far but it’s not out yet.

“We are trying to get their passports done as quickly as possible,” he said.

Mpandare said the boys are in high spirits ahead of the game.

“The boys have shown a good response even from the call up. They are excited we didn’t have problem.

“They have the right attitude and everyone is trying to give their all and want to impress the coach. They know that they can earn a position and play in other competition for the Warriors besides CHAN.

“We are geared up for the game and we want to do our best, “he said.
