A MBARE woman claims she is under siege from her son whose wild acts include stealing her property and selling it and urinating and defecating on her sofas.
Memory Mabande pleaded with the Harare Civil Court yesterday for a protection order and the eviction of her son, Anesu Tavengwa, from her property.
The court heard that the two live in the same one-roomed house at Mbare Flats.
“He urinates on the sofa and even leaves his human waste on the sofa, it’s not the first time that he is doing this and, after that, he does nothing in terms of cleaning his waste.
‘“I pray that he vacates the house as we stay in the same room.
“I am now sick and I am no longer finding it right to stay with him.
‘’Anesu is abusive and he insults me.”
Anesu did not attend the court session.
The magistrate granted Mabande a protection order, which is valid for five years, and ordered Anesu to stay away from her mother’s home on Block 9 Mbare Flats.
