Warriors and Leicester striker Admiral Muskwe has promised to do well if he is to feature in their game against Congo-Brazzaville on Sunday in their last AFCON qualifier game.
The game, which kicks off at 3pm at the National Sports Stadium, is a do or die since they need at least a point to qualify for Egypt.
“To be part of the national team is a huge honor for me and my family. I’m just looking to do as well as l can,” he said.
Muskwe says players don’t need any motivation in this game because it should come from within.
“I don’t think there is too much psych that means to be done on me as a player.
“This is a game any player would want to win so the motivation should already be within you.
“So I’m just excited to be on the pitch and hopefully we can do all we need to do to qualify,” he said.
“It’s not a situation where we need to go and win the game in the first half or try and attack from the go.
“I think they are going to come here needing to win so we are in a position where we can afford to draw the game and qualify which puts us in a good position.”
He believes that the team is made up of quality and has urged fans to rally behind them.
“Obviously there is no easy game but l think we have quality that we have in the team so we should be able to do the job and qualify.
“My message to the fans is come and give all the support that you can and we will complete the task we have in hand,” he said.
