Zim dancehall chanter Ras Caleb says people only need God during these trying times.
The Tokwe Mukosi hit maker said there is need for God’s intervention during this coronavirus era.
“We are coping but life is not easy as the supplies are limited and there is no income.
“We only need God’s intervention, nyasha dzaMwari ndodzongodiwa as human beings we will fail,” he said.
Ras Caleb also said the pandemic affected artistes not only in Zimbabwe but across the world.
“We have been affected from left, right and centre by Covid-19.
“The longer this pandemic continues its going to be hard for us as artistes because we depend mostly on gatherings for survival.
“Our hopes for survival are being infringed by this virus which has affected everyone in the world.”
He also encouraged people to follow instructions from health experts to combat the deadly virus.
“The biggest gift from God is life and we just need to follow instructions from all the responsible authorities to save lives.
“Some of the orders might be difficult to follow due to our economy but we really need to try it for the best of others.
“God will provide a way for us and I am sure we will sail through.
“Look the countries which were really affected most have world class hospitals and economy, there need for God’s intervention,” he said.
Meanwhile, he is working on new songs to strengthen hearts of music lovers in these trying times.
Ras Caleb has also hailed Chillspot Records, King Alfred, Mr Mash from South Africa among others for assisting him during this difficult time.

“Keeping in touch with fans through music has made my life easier.”
