HWANGE coach Nation Dube says they are not going to be relegated despite their current position on the standings.
Hwange are currently 16th with 31 points and Dube is confident that his side will escape relegation.
They have registered seven wins, 10 draws and 11 defeats so far.
In their last five games Hwange managed to get a single win when they defeated Mushowani 1-0 last week, losing to Chapungu, CAPS United and Harare City and drew with Black Rhinos leaving them in the drop zone.
“We are not going to be relegated because we still have six games to go and we need to make sure that we collect maximum points.
“Now it’s all about collecting at least three points at home and then a draw will be fine when we play away.
“It’s not like we were playing badly but it’s just that we have many draws but I’m confident that with our remaining games we will pick up crucial points.
Chipangano will face tough fixtures including Triangle, Chicken Inn and ZPC Kariba.
They will also face tough relegation battles with Herentals, Bulawayo Chiefs and TelOne.
“I’m happy with the current form we have and we just need to try and continue what we have been doing all season.
“And we have to keep our cool and stay focused in all our remaining matches.
“I know it’s going to be difficult because these are all tough fixtures but I believe Hwange will survive relegation this season,” said Dube.
