THE annual wildlife Ranger Challenge took place at the weekend at Hwange National Park with support from Better Brands and Talkchart.

The half-marathon is aimed at raising awareness and funding for rangers working to protect biodiversity and endangered species.

Better Brands managing director, Mike Rich, emphasised the importance of investing in wildlife and biodiversity preservation as part of corporate social responsibility.

“We are so proud to be associated with this annual event and urge the corporate sector to participate in this initiative because preservation of wildlife and endangered species is an urgent matter.

“If not us, then who?” he said.

Talk Chart’s CEO, Jonathan Muchengeti, hailed the corporate support for the initiative and called for more investment towards conservation.
