Winky D and his Vigilance Band is set to headline the Ghetto Invasion show set for Werras Park in Glen View 1 on August 20.
Winky D will be supported by Bazooker and Boss Pumacol while the immortalmovement duo of Templeman and Garry B will also grace the event.
The venue, located at new Glen View 1 shops, has become a partying place choiceof late, hosting a number of popular entertainers.
Speaking ahead of the potentially explosive show, Werras Park proprietorSamuel ‘Boss Werras’ Saungweme promised a memorable event.
“We have decided to bring Winky D this time around. It has always been our wish to ensure that our patrons get a feel of their favourite artists.
“We are happy to be hosting Winky D. Our duty is to bring top entertainment events to the ghetto and I believe we are in the right direction,” said Boss Werras.
Werras Park has so far hosted top artistes like Alick Macheso, Killer T, Freeman, Seh Calaz, Baba Harare and Andy Muridzo.
“We have hosted several big names in the music industry such as Macheso and the journey continues.
“We held several events during the winter period and despite the harsh weather conditions, people supported us and we are going to thank them this summer with more exciting events,” he said.
