SHOWBIZ stalwarts, Jah Prayzah and Winky D, will tomorrow divide the capital city as they hold high-profile shows on the same day.
Jah Prayzah will perform at Woods Pub & Grill alongside top South African rapper Cassper Nyovest.
The show is dubbed the Kings Concert.
Winky D headlines the Braai Out gig at King Fisher Park.
The Kings Concert is powered by Hatipfeke Junk Clothing Label while Winky D and the Vigilance will be backed by songbird Gemma Griffiths and rapper-of-the-moment Voltz JT.
Braai Out organisers have also slotted an after-party event that will be held at Old Kebab in Newlands.
H-Metro spoke to the organisers of the two shows and they anticipate a fun-filled weekend.
Nigel Chinovhiringa of Tamba Events said:
“All is set for the big day (Saturday), we urge people to come early as our event starts in the afternoon.
“It’s a good day to be out with the family as we have a lot of activities during the day that families can take part in.
“It’s our third anniversary and we are excited to have Winky D being part of those celebrations.”
Kings Concert show organiser, Francis Dendere, said:
“The Kings Concerts is basically a best of both worlds event.
“Two great artists of different genres, one from Zimbabwe and another from South Africa coming together, and sharing the stage.
“It promises fireworks as both acts will be performing with live bands.”
