A Harare woman was on the run after staying for three weeks at the Holiday Inn hotel without settling the hotel bill.
Pertiners Zvabva,45, pleaded not guilty when she appeared before magistrate Learnmore Mapiye and the matter was remanded to December 16.
The state led by Francisca Mukumbiri heard that from July 2 up to July 28 this year, Zvabva requested to stay at the Holiday Inn Hotel and she was given a room to stay which costed ZW$520 per day which she agreed to the amount.
Zvabva stayed at the hotel and left her room without notifying the management with her stuff on July 28.
The management later noticed that Zvabva had left their premises and had locked the door to her room and left without informing them.
The hotel management then decided to unlock the door after realising that Zvabva had taken a lot of time without coming, they discovered that she had left and also had carried all her belongings.
Zvabva left a bill of ZW$15 783 and the money has not yet been paid.
