A WATERFALLS woman is at odds with her step-son who allegedly intends to chase her from her matrimonial home.
Winnet Chirodza sought a protection order against Austin Zviyo citing physical and verbal abuse.
She told the court that her step-son told her that she was going to chase her at her house.
“He wants to destroy my house as he intends to chase me from my matrimonial house.
“I have slept several times at next door since he will be holding a knife against me saying I should leave the house.
“He demands money from me, the little I would have collected from my tenants he wants to take it all.
“I am now afraid of him. I want him to leave my house in peace before he injures me,” said Winnet.
Austin disputed the claims.
“I never said those words. I only have issues with my father.
“She is influencing him not to send me money saying I am old enough to look after myself,” said Austin.
Presiding magistrate Tilda Mazhande ordered Austin not to insult, assault or threaten to chase his step-mother from her matrimonial home.
