PREMIER Soccer League side Yadah have been hailed for flying injured striker, Junior Zindoga, to South Africa for emergency surgery.

The gangly forward was injured during the opening match of the season against Hwange at the Colliery.

The Zimbabwe Footballers Union yesterday gave an update on Zindoga.

“Wishing Yadah FC striker Junior Zindoga a speedy recovery after a successful operation.

“He suffered two broken metacarpals in the left hand in a match against Hwange FC.

“His team, Yadah FC, flew him to South Africa for an emergency operation”

Social media followers hailed Yadah for being committed to their players’ welfare.

The Miracle Boys have been trying to set the standards when it comes to professionalism in the game since they signed Khama Billiat.

They have improved facilities at their training ground while their players flew to Hwange for their first game of the season.

Images from their camp, including how and where they take their meals, have shown that they are a club who are striving to project a professional image.

They have picked a point, in their first two games, which have all been away from home.

Their next match is a big one against Dynamos and they want it played at Rufaro instead of their Heart Stadium because they are expecting more than the 5000 fans who can fill their new home ground.
