The Buildcon trio of Takdzwa Chimwemwe, Joel Ngodzo and Donald Teguru began training with their club on Monday.
Zambian football which was suspended due to Covid-19, has since been given the greenlight to resume.
“It’s good to be back in training,” says Chimwemwe.
“We started on Monday and it was fun meeting everyone in training and some for the first time after months.
“I was looking forward to training because staying at home was now becoming boring.
“Football is our job so it’s boring if you’re not doing your job.
“But l’m just glad that this is all over and l can’t wait for the games to begin,” he said.
Chimwemwe says the trio had been helping each other to maintain fitness during lockdown.
“We have been helping each other to stay fit during lockdown.
“We stay together and have been helping each other.
“And we found it better than individual trainings,” he said.
The former Harare City Star says he is not worried about Covid-19.
“I’m not worried about Covid-19 because we were tested before.
“We are practicing all the safety measures in training and after.
“And the government also said that we will be in isolation two days before games.
“So we are not worried and l think we will be safe just like any other league have been doing it,” he said.
The Zambian league games are slated to start in the next two weeks.
