ZDF Queens coach Joel Sibanda said they will work hard for a top four finish in the inaugural Rainbow Amateur Netball League.
The Army Queens will face Beta Queens tomorrow in Dzivarasekwa in a tricky encounter that will see the winner securing the fourth position.
Beta Queens are leading ZDF by a point.
In an interview with H-Metro, Sibanda said they are now out of the title race, but they will still work hard for their final match.
“We are ready for them and I’m confident we are going to take this one. I am also calling for fair officiating.
“We are going to utilize our center passes and avoid unnecessary mistakes.” he said.
Sibanda said they are now looking beyond this season.
“The championship race is no longer in our favour. We missed a number of chances that could have seen us through this season.
“We are now looking forward to the next season since this year is almost over,” he said.
“Although we have had a good run lately, the match officials somehow played a role in some of our defeats this season but I’m confident we will do better in the next games.
“We have already outlined our plan for this year. We have to keep our composure and stick to the game plan,” he said.
ZDF Queens are one of the military teams in that joined the new league and have been performing well.
In other matches on this week, Ruwa Queens will host Goldreef at 12pm in Zimre while Correctional Queens play against Platinum Queens at Chikurubi at 2pm
Flow Angels will host Platinum Queens on Sunday at Glenview 1 new hall.
