EDMORE ‘ZiKeeper’ Sibanda and Nyasha Mushekwi have been ruled out of the Uganda encounter at the Cairo International Stadium this evening.

The duo picked injuries in the opening match against hosts Egypt which they lost 1-0.

ZiKeeper was replaced by Elvis Chipezeze in the second after suffering a knee injury after a collision with an Egyptian player.

Mushekwi was complaining of his hamstring for the better part of the game until he was withdrawn for Evans Rusike.

They did not train with the team since Saturday.

Warriors manager Wellington Mpandare confirmed that ZiKeeper and Mushekwi are out of the crucial which Sunday Chidzambwa’s men need to win to keep their chances of progressing to the knockout stage alive.

“They are out for the (Uganda) game,” said Mpandare.

George Chigova, who was suspended for the Egypt game, makes a return and is a favourite to guard goal for the Warriors.

H-Metro has been attending Zimbabwe training sessions and from the look of things, Tino Kadewere is likely to lead the attack.
