Afro pop singer Tendai “Wayne F.O.G” Mukangairwa has roped in Nigerian artistes Soft and Phandaboy in his upcoming remix song titled Ikoko.
Wayne F.O.G recently attracted the attention of United Kingdom based recording label BLKSMITH Records due to hard work.
“Nigeria is an exciting place and I made the visit for a number of reasons, following a collaboration with some artists in Lagos, I travelled over to meet the producer, Solshynebeatz, Myk Doriginal and Phanda Boy among others.
“I finished the trip with a radio tour and video shoot for the song Ikoko.
“It was a privilege going to the Hub of Afro pop, I have learnt a lot being exposed the people, the culture and the creative energy that is so prevalent in Lagos,” he said.
The singer said he is targeting to develop team work.
“I would love to help Zimbabwe develop the culture of teamwork that I experienced as a visitor in Nigeria.
“I believe Zimbabwe has so much talent and I want to be someone that helps that talent thrive. I want to change the narrative and bring people with me on my journey through music. There is room for everyone; that is the culture I want to be part of.
“I work hard and I believe in the power of networking with like-minded professionals.
“By the grace of God, and with thanks to my Label Blksmith Records, I have been able to turn a network of individuals into a dream come true.
“You cannot underestimate the power of kindness in helping you move through the music world,” he added.
