Zimbabwe ace signs for SuperSport United

NINETEEN-YEAR old Zimbabwe starlet Nokutenda Mangezi has become the first player from this country in two years to sign for a South African top-flight side, after sealing a three-year deal with SuperSport United.

The former Pamushana High student has been with Real Betis Academy after joining them at its inception when he was just 16.

And after impressing in Betis Academy colours where he also toured Spain in 2022, Mangezi was invited for assessment at the Tswane side in July where he impressed coach Gavin Hunt resulting in him coming aboard the ship.

The striker has limited local Premiership experience after he spent six months on loan at Simba Bhora last year.

He will wear Jersey Number 9 and he will not be without compatriots as he joins another Zimbabwean forward

Terrence Dzvukamanja who is already in the books of SuperSport United.

Mangezi could debut for his new club in the Tswane Derby against Mamelodi Sundowns tomorrow.
