FORMER Nemakonde High School student Talent “Gomlar” Mushoma is yearning to make it big in showbiz.

The 22-year-old Zimdancehall chanter laments the lack of exposure for his stunted growth.

Mushoma, who started singing while still at school, believes he has what it takes to make it to the top.

“I began singing in secondary school between 2015 and 2018. I believe I am ready to conquer. I am a raw gem just waiting to be polished and shine,” said Mushoma.

He also appealed for sponsorship.

“Some music promoters promise you heaven on earth when we meet at shows, but they don’t keep up their promises.

“I am worried that they are lying to us instead of being honest so that we don’t raise our hopes for nothing.”

Inspired by Killer T and Enzo Ishall, Gomllar believes he is moving in the right direction.

“I have recorded 10 songs so far. Some of my songs include Mbambaira ndochingwa, Amai vangu, Hupenyu hwangu and Wakandisiya ndiri ndoga, “ he said.

Mushoma heaped praise on his producer, Mekalah Exclusive and the Fire Temple Family, saying they had helped him grow as an artist.

Despite the challenges, Mushoma remains optimistic about his future.

“I believe that with hard work and determination, I can make it in this industry. I just need someone to believe in me and give me a chance,” he said.
