BIGGIE ZUZE yesterday started duty as the new man in charge of the Dynamos camp.
The new Dynamos head coach was seen getting the Glamour Boys geared up for the Bulawayo Chiefs challenge scheduled for this Sunday.
Although the media was barred from the Dynamos training session, H-Metro can confirm that Zuze started his new job yesterday.
Dynamos bouncers confirmed that all the new changes at their camp are already in action.
“Why do you want to force your way into this training session?
“Thursday is the official media day.
“Come on Thursday and see things for yourselves, after all, the information that is circulating is true and it is what is happening now,” one of the bouncers said.
Zuze will start his new assignment with a battle against Bulawayo Chiefs, a team that is sitting within the top ten on the log.
The new coach has been given a task to bring a better change within the DeMbare camp before the end of the first half of the season.
If Kenny Mubaiwa’s words are anything to go by, results from this game contribute to Zuze’s future at Dynamos.
“His assessment starts now.
“We are expecting a wave of change this weekend, whatever result he gives will be a part of his assessment.
“If he manages to give us good results up until the end of the first half then we won’t have any reason to dismiss him,” Mubaiwa said.
Mixed feelings are however being expressed by Dynamos fans concerning Zuze’s appointment.
Interviewed by H-Metro Nicholas Ratidzo a fan of Dynamos said Zuze is not the answer to Dynamos’ problems.
“I don’t think Zuze is the perfect answer to this question.
“Look what happened when Mutasa was in Zambia for that invitational friendly match, Zuze was left in charge and Dynamos drew against Shabanie.
“Zuze failed as a coach. What was needed that day was just a change of the game plan since Dynamos was leading with 3-0, unfortunately he did not master that and we ended up having a draw,” Ratidzo said.
Another fan said Zuze’s history makes it clear that he is not good enough for Dynamos.
“Zuze has been a coach for many years, he was in charge of many PSL clubs but never won any league title. How then can we trust him with Dynamos?” Tinashe Chigora said.
